For decades, Indiana University's athletics have largely been synonymous with one sport: Basketball. However, a school competing in the Big Ten Conference can only get by on that reputation for so long before football has to become a priority.

For the Hoosiers, that priority is becoming more significant by the year -- one look at the school's athletics Web site says it all. Before logging on to iuhoosiers.com, a monitor-sized IU football helmet backdrops a prompt for viewers to purchase tickets for Indiana's home-opener against Indiana State.
