The 6-foot-3, 200-pound Simpson was offered last week by the University of Louisville, according to his coach Jeff Marksberry.

Simpson ran for 2,310 yards and 37 touchdowns on the season, including 16 carries for 72 yards in the title game loss to Trinity last weekend.

Simpson now has offers from Kentucky, Louisville, Cincinnati, Western Kentucky, Purdue, Troy State, Indiana, Central Michigan and Illinois.

Michigan, Alabama and Tennessee are also in the mix but have not offered yet.
