Boys Prep of the Week: South's Jenkins could be next big thing : South Fort Myers High : Naples Daily News
Quote:
So far, Jenkins has been most heavily recruited by Indiana, but that doesn’t figure to last if he keeps playing on the level he’s been at since this preseason’s game against Barron.
Jenkins, who is a three-star prospect as determined by Rivals.com, has also received scholarship offers from Boston College, Iowa, Iowa State, Louisville, N.C. State, West Virginia and Syracuse. While his preference is to remain a defensive player, his offensive prowess has upped his value to schools giving him a call.
“I want to play cornerback in college. That is my decision and that is what I have been doing since I was 12,” he said. “I guess I do well with the ball in my hands, but that all just comes naturally to me.”

Jenkins is visiting Wisconsin this weekend....football tradition is most important to him....he has a tight knit relationship w/ his Wisconsin recruiter.....other favorites are Louisville, Iowa, and Indiana.
We clearly have the most recent tradition of any of the schools he's considering. This article only made me more optimistic that we secure his services.

He wants to major in business and he was very impressed with UW's business program. Says he wants to wait til after the football season to decide.

PrepZone: Hot on the recruiting trail : South Fort Myers High : Naples Daily News

South Fort Myers' Brodrick Jenkins has a little clearer picture of his future, but nothing is for certain. The Wolfpack's all-around star is being recruited by FBS schools as a defensive back, though he also plays receiver, returner and running back for South.
Jenkins, the 5-10, 177-pound senior, visited the University of Wisconsin earlier this month. He saw the Badgers take on Penn State and spent time with Collier County products Aaron Henry (Immokalee) and Culmer St. Jean (Lely), who play for Wisconsin.
South coach Grant Redhead said Jenkins hopes to visit Louisville and West Virginia as well. Jenkins has offers from nine FBS schools: Boston College, Indiana, Iowa, Iowa State, Louisville, North Carolina State, Syracuse, West Virginia and Wisconsin.
"There are several others (who might offer scholarships) that are not quite ready to pull the trigger yet," Redhead said. "At cornerback, the key is speed. Some have it, some don't. Brodrick's got it, which makes it nice."
