Nebraska, Southern Miss offer Moore | Football recruiting | ajc.com
Quote:
Clayton Moore, a 6-foot-2, 205-pound junior quarterback for Louisville (Miss.) High, picked up a scholarship offer from Nebraska on Wednesday. He already had an offer from Southern Miss.
And Moore is near the top of Ole Miss and Texas Tech’s recruiting boards.
“I called the receivers coach at Texas Tech the other night,” Moore said. “I had gotten word that they’re interested in me.
“And I’ve gone on three unofficial visits to Ole Miss. I had a one-on-one meeting with [Ole Miss] coach [Houston] Nutt about three weeks ago.
“I’m getting a bunch of letters from ACC schools, like FSU, Miami, North Carolina and Virginia. And I just got one from Illinois.”
Don’t look for Moore to commit in the near future.
“I’m just going to sit back and see what happens,” he said.

From the Nebraska site. Moore says he has no favorites and is focused on baseball for now. Virginia Tech is recruiting him the hardest.

With over 15 scholarship offers, Clayton Moore denies narrowing down his favorites yet. "They are all pretty equal right now," Moore said. "I've been playing baseball and haven't really had time to check out as many schools as I'd like to." The first school to offer Moore was Southern Miss shortly after signing day this year. "It's not too far away. "But that doesn't really matter..."

By Y Porter. Moore finally got the offer from Ole Miss tha he has been waiting for. He was upset that they didn't offer him on the spot last week at camp, and is hoping to find out why when he calls coach Nutt. He will take in some more camps this summer, and hints taht he could have his mind made up by July.
