As close as Ellis was/is to Benn, I thought it was a given he'd attend Illinois. Doesn't look like it's going to work out that way.

Reggie's final eight schools are Alabama, Maryland, Boston College, Penn State, Illinois, Michigan, Rutgers, and Pittsburgh. He plans to take some official visits, decide this fall, and enroll early in the college of his choice.

Don't believe everything you read darrin. This one is all Illinois and it isn't even close.

He will add onto a defense that will be vicious in the next year or so. I'm going to go ahead and call this one for you:

And to the poster that mentioned Locksley, he is simply amazing. He is the reason Flash Thomas will be Illini.

Hey, I hope you're right...Thomas was impressive when I saw him work out.

I have Flash #1 on my list personally for Illinois. He is VERY dynamic and is the Ted Ginn/Reggie Bush type of player who has speed to burn and then some. Add him with the young weapons Illinois has and.......well DC's will have to pick their poison between Benn, Flash, Cumberland, etc.
