Hedrick started his high school career at Chicago Heights (Marian Catholic) and made the transfer to Bremen for his junior season where he was named team most valuable player as well as earning all-area and all-conference honors. Keithan projects as a safety at the next level. In 2007, he had 80 tackles and an interception in which he returned for a touchdown. From his tailback position, Hedrick rushed for 721 yards on 121 carries and 6 touchdowns.
