From the Iowa site...the Iowa staff watched him play and made an official offer, joining Ball State, Miami of Ohio, Florida International, and Florida Atlantic. Plans to decide in the next few days and has an official scheduled to Iowa for 11/15.
Sounds like he could be a Hawkeye verbal by the time he visits...

Less than two days after he received a scholarship offer from Iowa, Gaither’s Justin Lattimore told the Hawkeyes he will play for them next year.
The Gaither senior tight end chose Iowa over several other Division I schools that had offered scholarships, including Florida Atlantic, Ball State and Middle Tennessee State. Florida, Florida State and Georgia were also interested in him.
“They seem to air it out a lot and use the tigtht ends a lot,” Lattimore said. “It seems like the perfect offense for me.”
Lattimore, who also plays defensive end, has been a big reason the Cowboys have had success the past several seasons. He leads the team in receiving this year.

It didn't take Justin Lattimore long to reconsider his college future.
Two days after Illinois offered the Gaither High tight end a scholarship, Lattimore decommitted from Iowa and will take a visit to Illinois on Dec. 12.
Lattimore, who led the Cowboys in receiving this season, verbally committed to Iowa last month soon after they made an offer. He also had offers from other Division I schools, including Florida Atlantic, Ball State and Middle Tennessee State.

It would appear the Rivals interview with him stating his top two are BC and Illinois turned out to be true, at least for Illinois.

One visit was all Justin Lattimore needed.
Before leaving the University of Illinois today, the Gaither tight end let the coaching staff he will be joining them next year. Lattimore verbally committed during his weekend visit to the campus.
Lattimore picked Illinois over Iowa, Ball State, Florida Atlantic and a couple of other Division I schools that offered scholarships. Earlier in the football season, Lattimore committed to Iowa, but when Illinois came through with an offer, he decommitted.
The senior tight end, who also played defensive end for the Cowboys, led the team in receiving this season.
