OandBNews...Has offers from offers from Kent State, Akron, Eastern Michigan, Miami(Oh), and UConn. Talks about visits/camps and Illinois. Mentions Coach Woodford specifically.
Strange, the update on Replogle and Feldmeyer are the first mentions of Coach Woodford recruiting.

Centerville O-lineman verbally commits to Illinois

CENTERVILLE - Jake Feldmeyer, one of the road graders in Centerville High School's vaunted running attack, has verbally committed to the University of Illinois.
The 6-foot-4, 270-pound offensive lineman also seriously considered Miami, Ball State, Connecticut and Eastern Michigan.
"Ever since I was a little kid, I've been amazed by Big Ten football and the packed stadiums of 70,000 fans," Feldmeyer said. "Illinois is definitely a program on the rise."
Feldmeyer epitomizes a cerebral offensive lineman with a 3.83 GPA.
"Colleges are clamoring for offensive linemen like Jake," said Elks coach Ron Ullery. "He's a lean 270, but can put on 20 or 30 pounds easily and still be athletic. He is physical, has a great work ethic, great leg drive and feet and finishes his blocks. He plays guard and tackle effectively for us."

Offensive lineman Jake Feldmeyer ended his recruiting today committing to the Fighting Illini over a slu of other schools vying for his talent, including Miami (Oh.), Eastern Michigan, Kent State and others.
Feldmeyer is rated as the No. 55 player in the class of 2009, according to Ohio High magazine and is an ESPN 150 Player candidate.
The following is a scouting report from Ohio High Recruiting Editor Duane Long and Video highlights:
55. Jake Feldmeyer (6-4, 270, OL; Centerville)
Feldmeyer is the next great player to come out of this storied program.
The Centerville offense did a lot of damage last year running behind this outstanding lineman. Like so many linemen in the Class of 2009, Feldmeyer is a very physical player. He gets a good punch and shows great lower body strength. He locks up his man and it is over.
Feldmeyer is an adept run blocker but will need to work on pass blocking as Centerville rarely throws the ball. He is a very lean 260 pounds and h moves really well.
His technique is quite good for a high school player. He gets his pads underneath and moves his feet. I see a player that can get to the 290-300-pound range and still be the same kind of football player.
He plays tackle in high school and has some length to his body but I think Feldmeyer will be a guard in college. He is one of the more underrated linemen in the state this year.

By D Berk. Jake and his maother made a trip to Illinois Monday, and he saw all he needed to see. He loved the attitude of the coaches and players at Illinois, and is happy to have the process over with.
