St. Xavier junior OL Matt James has offers from UC, Illinois and Tennessee, St. X football coach Steve Specht said in an e-mail this afternoon.

James, who is 6 feet 7 and about 290 pounds, is one of the state's top 2010 prospects.

From BuckeyeGrove.....Says he should be back for his next game on Friday. Believes that Cincinnati, Illinois & Tennessee will be offering today (9/1). Says he has been in contact with Ohio State, but doesn't believe an offer will be coming right away.

By Dave Berk...Matt says he is in no hurry and he did grow up a Bearcats fan. However, he will visit numerous schools and make the best decision for his future.
