He will definitely move up on both sites (Rivals I know for sure) when the next rankings come out. I will be shocked if he goes anywhere but Illinois.

Scout $
7/24
Nixon talks about his upcoming visit to USF. His favorites are (in no order) Florida, USF, Illinois, and Indiana.

From O&B News...favors Illinois and Florida (both offered). May decide before his senior season.

We just took a lock-down Florida cornerback away from Florida.

Credit where credit is due...good call on your part. Nixon looks like a pretty physcial corner, which is something I like, especially in the Big 10.

Thanks. I was wrong on the moving up part though. Oh well I guess he will just make Rivals scratch their head again like they did on Vontae Davis. I have a feeling the FNL camp made them think twice about giving Nixon a 4th star, but oh well. I know #1 CB Patrick Johnson was getting beat that day too, so............
Nixon is a speedster though and could start from day 1 (And that's something because Illinois has some pretty good talent in Chris Duvalt, Dere Hicks, etc.........young NFL type talent) opposite Vontae. It depends though because if Travon Bellamy stays at corner, he'll start there. I hope he does, because Brian Gamble will be too good to not be starting (He could possibly start THIS year from early reports of how he is doing) and Donsay Hardeman is coming in full steam ahead next year and will lay at least 2 WR's out, I guarantee it. 4.5 speed on a 6'2, 220 pound frame. So me personally, I would like to see Bellamy and Davis at the CB spots, Hardeman and Gamble at the S spots. And the thing is, freshman Nate Bussey is looking REALLY REALLY good and I already mentioned Dere Hicks and Duvalt. The Illinois secondary will be very scary next year.

Kid, don't forget Bo Flowers as well, unless he is moving to another position.
