DE Dyron Dye (6-5 225) of Sanford, FL currently holds 33 offers and is not ready to start eliminating anyone. "I'm open to anything," he said. "I'm looking at the depth chart and how they graduate the players. I'm looking at the academics before anything. It's wherever I fit. I like everybody." USC and Clemson are among his offers. "I talked to coach Hunt (USC) not too long ago," Dye said. "I haven't talked to coach Rumph (Clemson) in a while, but I might call him this week." Some of his other offers are Southern Cal, West Virginia, Florida, Florida State, Miami, LSU, Auburn, Tennessee, Mississippi State, Louisville and Boston College. Dye said he visited all the school in Florida except for Florida State this spring. Last season Dye made 65 tackles with 13.5 sacks, one interception, eight tackles for loss, ten passes broken up, three blocked field goals with one returned for a touchdown, and two blocked punts.

Dyron Dye continues to deny a leader and says he hasn't even begun narrowing schools down. "I don't have a top five right now and I'm really not going to announce any kind of list or anything until during the season," said Dye, who plans to announce his decision in early January. "So I'll try and take most of my visits before then. I'm really not going to worry about recruiting until then..."

From the USC site. Dye took a visit to USC last week, and came away impressed. He has no leader at this point and will not decide until after his visits. Distance will not be a factor, but how he is treated at each school will be.

Sporting News
Quote:
Sanford (Fla.) Seminole DE Dyron Dye, rated by Rivals.com to be the fourth quickest prospect in the nation at his position, went to the hospital over the weekend for chest pains. He was released on Monday.
As a precaution, Dye told Sporting News Today he will sit out Friday’s preseason kickoff classic game, as well as next week’s regular season opener.
“Oh, it was nothing,” Dye told SN Today. “I had some chest pains and had a couple of tests because I’m so athletic, just to make sure everything is alright. It was just a modest setback; it can happen to anybody.”
Dye, a four-star rated prospect who reports scholarship offers from Georgia, Southern Cal, Florida and LSU, among others, hasn’t trimmed his list of schools down a bit, he said Tuesday. He said he would like to take his official visits this fall during big game-day weekends, to get a feel for the atmosphere.
The 6-foot-4, 215-pounder is one of three Seminole players who is being recruited heavily. Teammate Andre Debose and Ray Armstrong are also in the Rivals.com Top250 players in the nation—and neither has made any decision about his college future, either. According to Dye, the trio should be together on the field for the Sept. 12 game against DeLand.

Top defensive end Dyron Dye names two finalists
Under Armour All-American Dyron Dye is now only considering Miami-FL and LSU, ESPN affiliate Web site InsideTheU.com reports.
He said, "It is down to crunch time and I know from what I have seen that I am down to two and anything can happen, but I am down to LSU and Miami. They are my top two leaders and we have a month and a half and anything can happen and anything can change from now until then."
Dye is expected to announce his commitment January 4th at the Under Armour All-America Football Game.
