The Class of 2008 is a week away from national letters-of-intent signing day, but there is already a buzz for the Class of 2009.
Naples junior offensive lineman Nick Alajajian has received a scholarship offer from South Florida. The 6-foot-4, 280-pounder jumped onto everyone's radar after a stellar season for the Class 3A champions.
"He definitely will be a national recruit. South Florida and Florida like him and Notre Dame has been in to look at film," Naples coach Bill Kramer said.

OL Nick Alajajian (6-4 291) of Naples, FL has nearly 20 offers and recently cut his list to Clemson, Georgia, LSU, Florida, Florida State and Miami. Clemson is recruiting him as a guard and he talked with Tigers recruiter Brad Scott a couple of weeks ago. But Florida is his current favorite. "My relationship with the coaches is good right now," Alajajian said. "I don' have my mind set on them (the Gators). They are just my favorite. Alajajian said he wants to take visits this summer to Florida, Florida State and Miami. And he's considering official visits to Clemson, Georgia, LSU and Tennessee. But, he might end things in July with a commitment.
