Quote:
Lincoln junior defensive back Jawanza Starling already has an FSU offer. So does Godby wide receiver Willie Downs, Madison County running back Chris Thompson, Leon linebacker C.J. Mizell and Rickards defensive back Jajuan Harley.
They all could very well be Seminoles next February.
At least that's what people keep telling them.
"Oh, I get that all the time," Harley said with a laugh. "They say we could be the generation that brings Florida State back."
Harley played sparingly as a junior after breaking his foot in the third game of the season, but he is still considered one of the top 100 players in the nation by Rivals.com.
"I thought it was over when I got hurt," Harley said. "I didn't think I was going to be in the top 100, and my recruiting was going to go down the drain."
Not quite.
Instead he's been offered scholarships by FSU, Clemson, Alabama, South Carolina and Florida International so far. That number will undoubtedly grow in the coming months. As of now, he said he plans to announce his college intentions in September.
Harley is ranked as the No. 32 player in the country.
