Bryan Stork has yet to step on the Florida State campus.

But as a fan, and through conversations with FSU football coaches, the Vero Beach football player knew it would be the place for him. Stork went public with that decision on Friday to become the FSU’s 11th commitment of the 2009 recruiting class.

“I love Florida State,” he said. “I’ve never been there. I know this is the place for me.”

Stork, who noted he wears his FSU cap all the time, said he has received offers from Florida International, Central Florida and Syracuse.

Stork (6-4, 240) is being recruited as a tight end but said if he grows out of the position, he said he’ll play offensive tackle for the Seminoles. Stork said he plays on both side of the ball. He is used mostly as a blocking tight end.

The commitment of Stork means FSU is off to another great start in recruiting. The Seminoles, after revamping its offensive staff, had 11 commitments at this point a year ago.
