Florida has offered Class of 2010 ESPNU150 defensive end Dexter Morant (Manning, S.C./Manning). The Gators coaching staff visited Manning High this week and extended the scholarship offer. Another ESPNU150 prospect, defensive back John Fulton, is getting attention from Florida as well. The pair is expected to be at the Florida Junior Day this weekend.

DE Dexter Morant (6-7 235) of Manning says his favorites right now are Florida, Georgia, and Alabama. He has offers from all three including offers from Clemson, USC, NC State, Tennessee, and Maryland. Morant has ten offers in all. He is also hearing from North Carolina, Notre Dame, Auburn, and FSU. Morant says that though he has some favorites, it does not mean USC and Clemson are not in the running. He visited Georgia and Alabama's junior days and loved both. "I'm from Manning so of course I'm going to like their campuses," he said. "They're all nice. College is going to be so different for me that I can't help but like all of the schools I see. They all have great things to offer." Morant says he will attend a couple of day camps this summer but he is not sure which ones. "My coach wants to talk to me about that so I'm not sure where I'm giong," said Morant.
