OL Conner Davis (6-3 280) of Deep Run, VA is hearing from both Clemson and USC. He has offers from Virginia, Virginia Tech, Maryland, BC, Duke, and West Virginia. Davis is also hearing from Wake Forest and Notre Dame along with the Tigers and Gamecocks. He said he would welcome offers from both South Carolina schools and thinks highly of both universities. "I've had a lot of friends visit USC lately," he said. "They all tell me how great it is. They say the campus is beautiful. Then, of course, they have Steve Spurrier and play in the SEC. It doesn't get better than that. He also loves what Clemson has to offer. "I've always been fascinated by Clemson since I was little," said Davis. "I'm not sure why. They also have a beautiful campus and a great football team. The new coach (Dabo Swinney) seems cool and Death Valley is awesome." Davis has visited a host of schools including UVA, Va Tech, BC, ans Maryland and had good things to say about each school. He liked UVA because they have done a good job placing offensive linemen into the NFL and their academics are outstanding. He liked the atmosphere at Virginia Tech and the success of the program. Davis says he is keeping his options open and does not have any favorites.
