Bookie threads - what ya need to know

Threads can and should operate as "game threads" If you have an update on the score, have something to say about the game, and so on, use the bet thread.

You may bet on an event more than once. Bets may be placed up to a half hour (in some cases 15 minutes) before kick off. All bets will be closed at that point.

There is no mechanism for me to re-imbuse a mistaken bet. Be careful. If you think you're betting on Clemson, and mistakenly put all your cash on Florida State, there's nothing I can do.

Bets will pay out the next morning at the latest, but usually will pay out as soon as the final gun sounds.

I'll always try to get new Bets for the upcoming week out on Monday. This may not always be possible owing to work and other obligations. Relax, I haven't forgotten about them.

If I make a mistake PLEASE do not hesitate to send me a PM. If a mistake is made, and bets have been made, the bet will be abandonded and a new bet set up in its place. (Changing the parameters of a bet after bets have been made leads to mistakes and confusion). I will always post a notification in the orginal thread that it has been abandonded.

If you bet on an event, and it closes, and there was a mistake, on the line, + or -, etc... and there was no correction, the bets will be paid as made... or said differently, all bets are final.

If I mistakenly pay out the wrong side of a bet, you keep your vcash (Bank eror in your favor). Efforts will be made to get those who should have been paid the appropriate amount of vcash.
