WR Kendall Kelly (6-3 205) of Gadsden, AL has seen his offer list climb well into double digits according to his assistant coach Ali Smith. Those offers include Clemson, USC, North Carolina, Colorado, Florida, Florida State, Auburn, Oregon, Southern Cal, Tennessee, Virginia, Georgia, Alabama, Georgia Tech and LSU. He's also drawing interest from Texas. "Clemson is a school he's very interested in," Smith said. "Coach Swinney has not been out yet, but that relationship is already there. We're looking for him this week." Smith said he's expecting USC recruiter Ron Cooper also to visit this spring.

Clemson recruiter Dabo Swinney was one of the coaches to scout WR Kendall Kelly (6-3 215) of Gadsden, AL this spring, and Kelly remains interested in playing for the Tigers' receivers coach. "He said I would be a good fit to play in their offense," Kelly said. Other schools to come thru this spring include Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Southern Cal, Oregon, Kentucky, Tennessee, Florida and Florida State. Kelly said one of his camp stops this summer will be Clemson. He's not sure about the others. He does not have any favorites and won't narrow his list until his season begins. "They're all recruiting me about the same." Kelly caught 32 passes for around 900 yards and 13 touchdowns last season.

From the Clemson site. Kelly says that Clemson will definitely be getting an official visit, and that he loves the offense they run. He will be taking summer visits to Florida, FSU and LSU, and adds that he will no longer be making trips to Michigan and USC as planned.

Kelly wanted to visit UT, checks out Auburn instead : Football Recruiting : GoVolsXtra.com
Quote:
Wide receiver Kendall Kelly from Gadsden City High School in Gadsden, Ala., didn’t visit Tennessee last weekend as he previously planned.
The 6-foot-3, 215-pound Kelly said he didn’t visit because he was unable to leave with teammate Dre Kirkpatrick, who made the trip to UT.
Kelly instead visited Auburn to watch the Tigers play LSU.
Kelly said he hopes to visit UT on Oct. 25 when the Vols play Alabama.
That would seem like a good weekend for Kelly to visit. He said Alabama is a big part of UT’s tradition.
“I think of the big rivalry with them and Alabama,” Kelly said.
Kelly has become more familiar with Alabama since Nick Saban became coach of the Crimson Tide before the 2007 season.
Kelly has been impressed by Saban’s job at Alabama.
“He’s done well down there,” Kelly said. “He’s got the guys all coming together. They all believe in what they’re doing.”
Alabama already has a tie to Kelly with freshman linebacker Jerrell Harris, who signed with the Tide out of Gadsden City in February.
Kelly said Harris hasn’t pressured him to choose Alabama.
“He just said it’s a big jump from high school to college,” Kelly said.
Kelly still has plenty of jumps to make before he chooses a school.
He said he’s still considering UT, Alabama, Auburn, Florida, LSU, Florida State, Clemson, Southern Cal and Oregon.
Kelly said he hasn’t set dates for any official visits. He said he will do that after he shortens his list of schools.
