I know some of you are current subscribers to scout.com and rivals.com but if you are not then go to their sites and sign up. I think you will like both sites but I know you will enjoy the video both have up of Clemson commitment DaQuan Bowers. If anyone had doubts when many called him the best defensive line prospect to ever come out of this state then these videos may change your mind.
Bowers is a freak of nature. He is an amazing athlete with superior skills. This is a 6-5, 265-pound monster that plays running back, tight end, defensive end and even returns kicks. I had the pleasure of seeing both Courtney Brown and Shaun Ellis come out in the same year and I can tell you Bowers is a better prospect than both at this stage. Brown and Ellis were 245-pound guys that were athletic but Bowers takes it to another level. Watch him pursue ball carriers on the perimeter and haunt quarterbacks in these videos.
Bowers plays like a 200-pound linebacker/tailback but he packs it in a 265-pound body. I love watching video of prospects but have not seen a defensive end look like this on tape. He is to a defensive front what Spiller, Davis and Korn are to their respective positions.

BAMBERG, S.C. - After trailing most of the first half, a player ejection and bad weather conditions which delayed the start of the second half an hour the Bamberg-Ehrhardt Red Raiders made it a happy homecoming as they defeated the Burke Bulldogs 48-20 Friday night.
Bamberg's Daquan Bowers, the top-ranked defensive prospect in the nation according to ESPNU, was ejected early in the fourth quarter. Despite being ejected Bowers led the Red Raiders with 150 yards rushing on 14 carries and three touchdowns, including a blocked extra point on special teams.
However the ejection will deliver a big blow to the Red Raiders as Bowers will have to sit out next week's contest against the Edisto High Cougars, according to South Caroline High School League rules as result of getting tossed.

For the first time this year, Red Raiders running back Daquan Bowers was held under 100-yards rushing, finishing with 14 carries for 49 yards and a touchdown. Anquan Thomas led the Bamberg rushing attack with 57 yards on 10 carries while quarterback Chris Presley added 51 yards on 12 carries including two touchdowns.
"I thought that it was one of the more balanced and better games that we have played," Bamberg-Ehrhardt football coach Ron Duncan said. "I was very pleased with the effort and the way we played. Once we got up 20 to nothing I just wanted to run the ball and eat the clock and that is what we did."
The Red Raiders struck first on the opening drive when Presley powered his way to a 2-yard touchdown with 5:11 to go in the first quarter, capping a 13-play 80-yard drive that took 6:49 off the clock. Dylan Searson would miss the extra point but Bamberg led 6-0.
With 5:48 to go in the first half Bowers scored on a 3-yard touchdown run and then added a two- point conversion with 5:48 to go in the second quarter, and Bamberg carried a 14-0 lead into the half.
