For the second time this decade, Clemson has taken a commitment from an unheralded linebacker from Lake View. The first one, Anthony Waters, turned into an NFL prospect. The Tigers are hoping the same from Quandron Christian (6-4 210). He committed to the Tigers Wednesday night after being offered by Dabo Swinney and David Blackwell following a camp session. "Coach Swinney and coach Blackwell asked me if I liked it and if this is the place I wanted to be," Christian said about ten minutes after making his commitment. "They said they are pulling the trigger and asked if I wanted to do it. I said yes. I'm feeling good right now. I've been up there a million times. I liked the campus and the atmosphere before the games." Clemson is the first school to offer Christian who visited USC's camp Tuesday, Last season he totaled 89 tackles with 11 sacks. He becomes the ninth commitment for Clemson's 2009 class.
