From the Clemson site. Committed to Clemson. Axon says he knew he would end up at Clemson, and talks about how it felt like home when he was there. He is totally solid and wil not take anymore visits.

Bradenton (Fla.) Manatee RB Ben Axon hasn't de-committed from Clemson, following the firing of head coach Tommy Bowden, but he will take some other official visits this fall.
Manatee coach Joe Kinnan told Sporting News Today that Axon will still take his visit to Clemson in November, but in the past day-since the firing-he has set up a visit to West Virginia in December.
Florida State, Purdue and South Carolina have been schools that also have offered scholarships, the 6-foot-1, 195-pound Axon has reported.
"He's talked to (Clemson assistant coach) Brad Scott, and he has decided to take his other visits," Kinnan told SN Today. "It may not be the fit that it originally would have been, especially if they choose somebody who is not on staff. You just don't know."

Axon Measures His Clemson Commitment
By Phil Kornblut
RB Ben Axon (6-1 200) of Bradenton, FL has been committed to Clemson since June, but that committment is on life support following the resignation of Tommy Bowden. "I wasn't shocked," Axon said. "Clemson has high expectations. You've got to take care of business. I'm let down by the coaching staff. I don't think coach Swinney will be back. I think they are going to clean out the whole offensive staff. Right now, it's not looking pretty for me and Clemson. I haven't gone public to say I'm uncommitted yet because I have a good relationship with all the coaches, especially coach Scott and coach Powell. Coach Scott told me to wait it out about two more weeks. I'm going to wait for two more weeks and see how things work out." Axon said he talked with Brad Scott yesterday. He is scheduled for an official visit to Clemson November 15th. He also has a visit set with West Virginia December 13th. Axon said he's heard from USC recruiters David Reaves and Robert Gillespie and he plans to set an official visit with the Gamecocks. He's also looking at Purdue, South Florida and Florida for other possible visits. "I don't have a favorite right now," Axon said. Thru six games, Axon has rushed for 500 yards and nine touchdowns.
