Davis is a powerful back with good speed and quickness. He runs with good patience waiting for his blocks to set up. Once that happens he has a nice burst and shows good acceleration. Davis also shows good vision and change of direction skills. But he is more of a power runner and certainly has the ability to run downhill and over defenders. Overall, he has a nice blend of speed, power and quickness along with balance and good vision.

Last season as a junior Davis rushed for 1,355 yards and 10 scores in helping his team to a state championship.
