DB Cory Addison (6-1 190) of Jacksonville, FL had planned to attend USC's spring game but couldn't make it in. He hopes to visit USC sometime this summer. Addison said he's hearing a lot from Gamecock recruiter Steve Spurrier Jr. "I haven't been up there, but coach Spurrier has me following the program, so I want to get a chance to see them," he said. Addison has visited Florida and Florida State, and he says both are close to offering. He has 13 offers including USC, Miami, Kentucky, Illinois, Arkansas, Louisville and Ole Miss. He does not have favorites.

Addison Plans USC Visit This Week

DB Cory Addison (6-1 190) of Jacksonville plans to make an unofficial visit to USC this weekend, and the Gamecocks have the edge for Addison over Central Florida. "It's small, but it's an edge," Addison said. "I'm no longer considering Florida. If they wanted me, they could have offered me." With the Gators no longer a factor, Addison is giving serious consideration to making a commtment to the Gamecocks on hs visit. "If everything works out, that's what I'm planning to do," he said. "If I'm feeling it, yes. I told coach Spurrier a while ago, so he's kind of expecting it." Addison also has offers from Clemson, Ole Miss, Louisville, Arkansas, Illinois, Kentucky and Miami.
