Conway (N.H.) Kennett OL Ian White has given his word to Boston College, Rivals.com reported. The 6-foot-5, 260-pound tackle also had received a scholarship offer from I-AA New Hampshire, as well as interest from UConn and Penn State.

After receiving his scholarship offer this week, it only took about four hours for White to decide he wanted to play for the Eagles next year. He called the staff back and committed.

"What (assistant coach Jack Bicknell) said was he only wants me to go to Boston College if that's where I know I want to go," White told Rivals.com. "He said, 'If this is your top choice it would be great to hear from you as soon as possible.' BC is my No. 1 school. I've been waiting for them to offer. I knew I'd commit."
