Fullback Jahron Brown, of East Paulding High School in Dallas, Ga., has orally committed to Arkansas. Brown's father, James, said his son told Arkansas assistant coach Lorenzo Ward on Monday afternoon that he wanted to be a Razorback. "He thinks it's a big opportunity for him," James Brown said. "He thinks he can grow at the school and get an opportunity to play. He knows it's an SEC school, and to him, the SEC is like the NFL." Brown, 6-0, 225 pounds, 4. 7 seconds in the 40-yard dash, rushed 102 times for 987 yards and 17 touchdowns last year. He is the 20 th commitment for the 2009 class.
