Peace, the MVP at his position from South Grand Prairie, will be one to watch. His ability to make the tough catch despite going against a very aggressive group of DB’s was impressive. With just two offers in hand from Kansas and SMU, things should continue to grow in the recruiting arena.

By A Bone. After being one of the top players at their camp, Kansas offered.

Peace's coach talks about why numbers don't tell the whole story about Peace as a WR in their team system.

From TheWolverine...recaps his visit to UM...was not a fan of the weather but thinks he can come in and help out right away. Remains committed to Michigan but is considering visits to Texas Tech, Oklahoma and Boston College.

Yeah, why?
His father says he's a lock for UM. The only objection Dewayne had was the cold.

If cold is a con, Michigan is NOT the place to be. I just don't think if you're committed to a school far away for a while and then all of a sudden you start taking visits to schools much closer to your home (Kansas, Oklahoma etc...), it's not a good sign.
Also, while UM has passed a lot more this year (46ish%), a lot of recruits are being told by other coaches that UM isn't going to pass the ball. While it's probably not true seeing as how Beaver and Forcier can both sling it, it does weigh on the minds of recruits. Shouldn't really affect Peace much because I expect him to be a CB, but take it FWIW. I'll be glad if I'm wrong.

Meh, WR isn't really a position of need. The slots are full, there's a good amount of outside guys too (Stonum, Roundtree, the '10 kids, Mathews for another year etc...). Unless Peace is going to play CB, which is entirely possible, but I don't know for sure, his scholarship could be used for a much-needed talented OL, DL or DB.
