"I'm really looking forward to meeting all the coaches at Arizona," Lawrence Guy said. "I want to see how they run the program and what it's like there. They seem like good guys and I think they should be successful there." Another school that Guy thinks is up-and-coming is Arizona State. "Coach Dennis Erickson is doing really good and I think the team will be even better next year..."

Success boosts ASU recruiting

Then there's the 2008 recruiting class, already 60 percent full through Wednesday, the first day for letter-of-intent signing by mid-year junior-college transfers.The big recruiting news Wednesday came on the high school front when four-star defensive tackle Lawrence Guy of Western High School in Las Vegas chose ASU over Oklahoma, Tennessee and Arizona. The 6-foot-5 Guy had 120 tackles and 20 sacks this season and is ranked sixth nationally at his position by Scout.com.
