Quote:
“My top five schools are Missouri, Oklahoma, Illinois, Arkansas and Alabama. I don’t have any favorites. I will visit all the schools in the fall on officials and make a decision where I feel the most comfortable.” said Wingo
“I want to go to schools where I like the coaches, players and environment. I’m under much pressure to attend Missouri, it’s what is best for me.” he said.
“I still hear from Nebraska they are not in my top five but any anything can happen.” said Wingo
“I’ve been to Arkansas this summer. They like running the ball a lot and feature the I-back, send players to the NFL. I want to go where I can carry the ball 23 to 25 times a game.” he said
“Arkansas has an unbelievable weight room. It’s like a NFL room.”
“I like Illinois a lot.” said Wingo, “The players and coaches seem happy. Illinois is close to home and they have some good recruits coming there. Nathan Scheelhaase just committed to Illinois that helps some. I talk to him at times. I always felt he (Scheelhaase) would commit to Illinois.”
“I’ve been to Missouri several times. Coach Ford is recruiting me he’s a nice guy.” he said, “Missouri didn’t say anything about playing early, but If I take care of business I could.”
“Oklahoma features the running back they like to run the ball.” said Wingo, “I made it to Oklahoma this summer and it was nice.”
“Some schools that I like run the spread but that’s OK, I like catching the ball out of the back field.”
“I don’t know too much about Alabama, I will be visiting them soon.”
