University of Kentucky commitment Morgan Newton had a huge night on Friday as Carmel (Ind.) edged Center Grove 33-32 in a battle of Indiana powers.
Newton ran 28 times for 233 yards and two touchdowns, while he also completed 12 of 18 passes for 136 yards and another TD.
But Newton fumbled with 33 seconds left, only to watch his teammate - wide receiver Nick Logan - pick it up and race eight yards for the score.
Newton then hit Eric Ardaiolo on the two-point conversion to seal the victory in the game.
