Ann Arbor Huron wide receiver Jeremy Jackson is one junior who will receive an official Michigan offer in the mail this week. The 6-foot-4, 195-pound Jackson is the son of Michigan running backs coach Fred Jackson and has grown up around the program -- but that does not mean he takes the Michigan offer for granted.

“I never expected it from Michigan that early," Jackson said. "I didn't really expect it because I was an underclassmen and I wasn't even thinking about school.”

Michigan did not offer Jackson simply because he is the son of an assistant coach, however. The talented wide receiver also has early offers from Florida, Texas, Louisville, Iowa and Minnesota, and projects as one of the top 2010 prospects in the state.
