LB Robert Nelson (6-0 205) of Stone Mountain, GA has been favoring USC for several weeks and the Gamecocks continue to sit atop his list. Auburn is second and Tennessee is third. Nelson also has offers from West Virginia, MIssissippi State, Troy and Louisiana Tech, and he's hearing from Purdue, Indiana, Ohio, Florida, Memphis and Illinois. "I'm expecting a lot more people to come in September 1st," Nelson said. "I'll set my visits after September 1st. I want to go thru the season and see what other offers I get. I'm hearing a lot from coach Cooper (at USC). He's telling me they need somebody to make the tackles, and I told him I'm the man." Nelson made 176 tackles with 8 sacks last season.
