What in the hell is ESPN affiliate theBigSpur.com? What school does that represent? ESPN is obviously pretty horrendous at times with their coverage/evaluation/grading & up-to-date recruiting info. I'm not sure N.C. State, Virginia, Rutgers and South Carolina are the other schools that "appear" to be in "contention" for Justin's services.
Interest can change from day-to-day, anything can spark a kids interest but we appear to be all over him. We have recruited many kids with ego's the size of Alaska but Justin isn't one of them. As far as his comments about WRs, I doubt he is talking about all the WRs a team has but rather how many FORMIDABLE WRs a team has. He doesn't want to sit behind 3 or 4 starters when he arrives on campus only to find out that there is another wave waiting to break out on the field.
We're in good shape having gotten AJ Price (A in first summer class, B+ in second which ends next Tuesday) in the '08 class and now 6'3-6'2.5 WR Brandon Felder for the '09 class. Curtis Drake (ATH-QB-WR), Christian Kuntz (ATH-WR-LB-S) & Derrick Thomas (ATH-WR-CB-S) I don't count because who knows where they will play. Justin will play from day 1 and Brandon Felder probably will as well if he can work it out and get enrolled early. So as far as legitimate WRs (in my eyes) we would have AJ Price, Justin Brown, Brandon Felder, Graham Zug, Brett Brackett & Derek Moye. I doubt Brett or Graham start in '09 unless we miss on Justin so the opportunity is there for the taking.
He has tons of offers, and I don't care what other schools he has genuine interest in I am just hoping we CLOSE THE DEAL!
