Abdul Smith's [Perkiomen School (Pennsburg, PA)] recruitment blew up this spring with interest coming from everywhere, but at the end of the day, the Garden State native decided to stay home, and continue his education and football career at Rutgers University. In selecting Rutgers Football, Smith turned down offers from Boston College, Maryland, Penn State, Pittsburgh, and many others.
