ATH Everett Proctor (6-2 190) of Fayetteville, NC is close to an offer from USC according to his assistant coach Gary Lowery. "South Carolina likely is going to offer soon," Lowery said. "He's going to a one day camp there and will work out for them. Coach Hunt was thru here last week. They're recruiting him as an athlete." Clemson recruiter Chris Rumph also has checked on Proctor and expressed interest. He has offers from Michigan, North Carolina, East Carolina, Illinois, NC State, Maryland and Appalachian State according to Lowery. Proctor also is getting interest from West Virginia, Virginia Tech and Georgia Tech. Some of the schools, like Georgia Tech, are recruiting him as a quarterback. He can also plays safety and receiver. Proctor was the region player of the year last season. He rushed for 1105 yards and 13 touchdowns and passed for 754 yards and five scores. He does not have any favorites.

Obviously, I highly doubt those offers are written.
