Ran into St. John's Coach Joe Patterson at yesterday's All-Met luncheon. Almost didn't recognize him now that he bought a razor and shaved his beard. Anyway, he reports that standout lineman Pete White will use the summer to take unofficial campus visits and holds scholarship offers from: Maryland, Tennessee, Florida, Illinois, Miami, Michigan State, N.C. State, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Syracuse, Vanderbilt, Virginia and Virginia Tech.
