And they offered him very early, so that's his major selling point. Wisconsin having a scholarship open really has nothing to do with his actual or perceived skill level.
Of course sources are going to shoot down the report, because it would quell rampant speculation, and take scrutiny off kids. Whoever the kid was can now make his decision without pressure pulling him either way.
Prosser shared information that was supposed to be confidential, apparently, so I wouldn't be surprised if he's personally burned the bridge with Wisconsin, and we won't hear that we're recruiting him anymore. But that doesn't mean we won't still be looking to add players like Wilson or Williams in '09. Williams says he's still being hotly pursued by Wisconsin.....is he lying also?
