Quote:
Pound for pound and inch for inch Weingart is as good as there is up front. This talented guard can also play center and it's tough to find a more tenacious offensive lineman. Technically sound in terms of footwork and hand positioning coming out of stance. Rolls his hips on contact and drives his legs like pistons. A very aggressive lineman that plays high at times but makes up for it by his hustle and effort. Plays with better leverage in short yardage and goal line situations; really honkers down and drives for every inch of movement. Very physical when trapping and pulling; really delivers on the defender and is agile enough to turn a kick out block into a log if the defensive man wrong arms. Mobile for a shorter lineman and can turn upfield to pick up linebackers or lead outside on perimeter players. Solid when double teaming as both a drive and a post man. Sound pass protector that moves his feet well and delivers a good initial punch to stop charge of pass rusher. Good body control when pass protecting and shuffles well laterally while maintaining position on rusher. Weingart is a very active and productive offensive lineman that should excel at either guard or center where a large wing span isn't necessary.

Despite a recent ECU offer, expects to commit to WVU within the month.
