I'm guessing they offered him as a free safety, from evaluating his ScoutingOhio Video.

He's not really big enough to play linebacker. I wouldn't say he's strong enough to play free safety, either. He's getting taken along for the ride by too many ballcarriers. And that doesn't project well for running through tackles as a running back either. He also runs a bit too upright for that position.

The biggest strength I saw was his quick burst, top speed, and ball skills. He liked facing the line of scrimmage. Played very passive when he tried to cover 1 on 1. That combination translates to the free safety position. Wide receiver is also a possibility. He's versatile, which is a positive of course.

Reminds me of Shane Carter a bit, who was also from Ohio. Solid prospect.
