Wilson is probably falling in response to his AAU performances, where he's just looking like another player on the court. I think you can blame the shoot first point guard Johnnie Lacy for those performances. While he's putting on dribbling clinics and posting 30 point performances, all Wilson can do is sit there and watch. I've played with ball dominating, shoot first point guards before, and it's frustrating as hell. I was a pretty good high school player, and am usually the best player in a pick-up game, but when I play alongside a point guard like that, I'm invisible. Point guard is the most important position on the floor. You can either make players better, or make players worse. Lacy certainly isn't making Wilson better right now. I mean my God, the Wisconsin Playground Warriors, as talented as they are, lost to a local Sheboygan team of nobodies in the opening round of the Dean's Food Classic earlier this spring. They've got to take the ball out of his hands.
