6-3 is very tall for a freshman already. I would expect him to still grow another few inches, but like you said this is not always the case (i.e. Korie Lucius). Also, it is true that he is already at a very good height for a true point. If he were to stay 6-3 and fill out a little/add more muscle over the next few years, he would still be a very good prospect whether or not he adds height.

5th year scholarship player not asked back? I had not considered that angle because I don't recall it ever happening in basketball at UW. However, it occurs all the time in football. It's a very interesting theory, and plausible. A player who doesn't contribute shouldn't get 5-years worth of a scholarship when a player who does only gets 4. No, I actually was referring to the scholarship becoming available in '09 for Wilson or whoever else.
