Back on topic, the 2010 class is a classic reason why redshirting a project player can hurt you. Blue and Anderson would be a good class, but with a very good year for in-state talent, it is disappointing to see a Gavinski keep you from making runs at some of the other guys out there. I've never really heard of it in basketball, but I know there's always a guy or two in football who forgo their 5th year of eligibility if they don't figure to contribute much. Is there any chance JP considers this if he gets passed up by the guys we have coming in this year?

I understand the reasoning for your comparison, but I don't think they have similar skill sets. I think of Rush as a passive player, more than he's unselfish. He's also more of a true perimeter player, whereas Wilson is a hybrid. I'd liken him more to a Jeff Green/Luol Deng.
