If Bruesewitz is like Krabbenhoft, as he's often described, then I doubt any player of the year awards are in his future. The media doesn't recognize intangibles. Minnesota's Mr. Basketball will be rewarded to a stat-stuffer, who didn't commit to tUW.
BTW, I don't think a complete liability on the offensive end, like Joe Krabbenhoft, should be recognized amongst the best players in any grouping, unless he's Ben Wallace/Joey Dorsey on defense and the boards. Not that Krabbe isn't an asset. But he needs to develop a jumper before he's considered an impact player. Same thing for Bruiser.
