Northview star awaits state offers
DL Hagans has 18 offers; none from UGA or Tech

Published on: 07/22/07 It's all moving so fast for Northview defensive lineman Cordian Hagans, who walked onto a football field last season at the request of a friend and instantly became one of the top recruits in the South.
After one season of football, the 6-foot-5, 290-pound Hagans has 18 offers and counting from the top programs in the country, including LSU, Auburn, Alabama, Clemson, Boston College, North Carolina and Virginia Tech. Hagans said he is thrilled with his situation, but a bit confused why two state schools aren't in the mix.
