DE Sam Montgomery (6-5 240) of Greenwood is a wanted man these days, and not just by college recruiters. Girls have interrupted his recruiting activities. Montgomery said a prom last weekend and a prom this coming weekend forced him to curtail recruiting for a couple of weeks, but things will pick back up soon. He plans to take visits to Florida State, NC State and North Carolina in a few weeks. He visited NC State a couple of weeks ago but that trip was cut short because one of his coaches had to leave early. He also has been to USC and Clemson multiple times. Montgomery now has offers from USC, Clemson, Alabama, North Carolina, NC State, Maryland, Southern Cal, Miami, LSU, Auburn, Illinois, Tennessee, Duke, Florida State, Florida and Vanderbilt. Montgomery was chosen for the Under Armour All America Game, and he said he and Clemson commitment offensive lineman JK Jay have already made arraingements to be roomates. Montgomery said he and Jay are very good friends.
