Muldoon is a good sized defensive end prospect. He displays good athleticism. He has a solid get-off. Does a good job of bringing his hands when he comes out of his stance. He can create separation and does an adequate job of being able to hold his ground when engaged. He will flash the ability to derive power from his hips and knock a blocker back at times. He moves well laterally and does a solid job of shedding. He runs well and has good short-area change-of-directions skills. He is adequate at coming across the ball and squeezing down. He has a good motor and hustles to the ball. He takes solid pursuit angles. He is a solid tackler, but would like to see him do a better job of finishing. He athletically can get himself in position to make some plays, but just needs to finish. He has good feet. As a pass rusher he displays the ability to get up-field, dip his shoulder, and turn the corner. Displays the ability to set a blocker up and counter inside. Muldoon is a good player. He has some upside and could develop into a solid and productive college defender.
