DB Terry Shankle (6-0 173) of Norwood, NC was one of the prospects on hand for Clemson's practice Wednesday. "We stayed about three to four hours," Shankle said. "I talked to coach Napier, coach Bowden and coach Koenning. We talked about coverages. And I talked to some of the players. I saw how the players fit in. They have fun. The coaches have fun. They aren't uptight." Shankle also attend a junior day at Clemson. He plans to go to NC State this Saturday, and he plans to attend spring games at North Carolina, NC State and maybe Clemson. He has offers from Clemson, USC, Florida, Texas A&M, Alabama, North Carolina and NC State. "Everybody is even," Shankle said.
