"We all know it doesn't get that much better than USC, whether you want to go that far or not," Milloy said. "But he's a different guy. He's not too impressed with all that stuff. I don't know what he's going to do. Probably he'll go to Maryland or Virginia."

Still, Jenkins plans a West Coast trip next month to see USC, UCLA and Stanford.

Milloy said that UCLA Coach Rick Neuheisel called from an airport on the way to a coaching clinic in Las Vegas. Broaching the geographical distance from Washington to Los Angeles, Neuheisel said that he was playing golf the next day with St. Albans alum -- and former All-Met Player of the Year -- Jonathan Ogden and that former UCLA standout Kenny Easley is from Norfolk. "If we get him out here, he'll never want to leave," Milloy said Neuheisel told him.
