We fell to a three seed somehow, but we got paired with Gtown, which I wanted anyway. We also got the one seed that we probably match up the best against, so I think we have a decent shot at a deep run in the tourney. The second round match up scares me just as much as a matchup with Kansas or Gtown. If it would be us v Clemson that would be tough too. All in all though I don't think we have any excuses not to make it to 8 this year.

I am 100% glad we played the way we did. We are as resiliant as any team in the country, and if you watched the selection show you seen how proud the team was of the Big Ten Title. We are rolling

"(The University of Minnesota) didn't really compare," UW Kicker Taylor Mehlhaff said. "I loved the atmosphere here. It was pretty easy to cross (Minnesota) off the list. I wanted to play at the highest level possible but I also wanted to have that college atmosphere."
