I don't think we're looking at this the same way. Bo has had two years to give Gullikson's scholarship to a new recruit. He hasn't, so I have to believe that Bo gave Gullikson a three-year scholarship after his freshman year (yes, technically schollies are one-year renewable deals, but in reality they're usually a de facto four-year deal). You said that there's an available scholarship for next year. Maybe you're not counting Gullikson as a returning scholarship player. But because Bo didn't sign a five-man class on signing day I have to assume that he is. That's unless his punishment for underage drinking ticket #3 is losing his scholarship.
Tanner and Mo Cain got one-year deals because they weren't going to play significant minutes. Gullikson did in order to earn his, and he's had his for more than a year. That plus the (presumable) desicion to not renew his happened mid-season is why I would say his got "pulled" (if in fact it has).
Short way of saying all that: You think he's on a year-to-year scholarship basis. I consider him to be one of the players with a de facto schollie until their eligibility expires. Am I right?
