Here's what BaderFanMT said over on Sportsline. It's the first time I heard about that possibility.
"I have a lot of friends (one being my best friend) who are either H.S. players or coaches. And i love talking recruiting and i have a lot of inside info on many of the top tier players in Wisconsin.
First of all let me just say the Jeronne Maymon will never even consider going to Wisconsin. One reason being that he doesnt like our style of play. But the main reason he will never attend UW is his dad. My best friend is a good friend of Jeronne's and he used to play for Memorial (now plays for Lafollete), and supposedly Jeronne's dad told Bo that the only way that he could land Jeronne is if he allowed his older brother DeVonte to play as well. Of course Bo being who he is (only wanting players that fit in his system) he denied the offer, and so there is probably no chance at getting Jeronne. Jeronne is supposedly really interested in Memphis and that is probably where he'll be going.
From what i hear about Jamil Wilson, he will most likely commit to UW, why he is holding out on his decision i dont know. A lot of people think that he is this great player. He is good theres no doubt about it but when you look at Jeronne Maymon and Jamil Wilson it is clear who is the better player. Maymon. Wilson is a little more athletic/explosive but Jeronne is a better all around player, who can shoot with both hands and he can handle like a guard. Oh yeah Jeronne hates playing in the post too so UW isnt even on his radar."
I haven't seen any of Wilson's games, so I can't really compare the two. But Maymon is very good. Great body control as he goes to the hoop.
Does Memhis have any interest in him? His academic situation won't be as much of a problem there.
